We want your flowers to look beautiful and last as long as possible. Whether you’ve received a vase arrangement or one designed in biodegradable floral foam (Oasis), these tips will help you get the most from your flowers.

Vase Arrangements

Placement: Keep flowers indoors and away from heat, sunlight, and fruit (releases ethylene gas that shortens floral life).

Temperature: Keep room temperature as low as tolerable for longer-lasting blooms.

Water Care: Mist flowers with water every evening, preferably using distilled water.

Change water and recut stems every 2-3 days. Fill vase with lukewarm water and add liquid flower food. We recommend FloraLife Crystal Clear Flower Food 300 Liquid (available on Amazon).

Stem Care: Recut stems at an angle before placing in water. Remove dead leaves to prevent decay and any leaves below the waterline to avoid bacterial growth.

Reviving Droops: Cut drooping stems and place in hot water (not boiling), keeping blooms above water.

Floral Foam Arrangements

Moisture Management: Check foam daily, keeping it consistently moist. Add water with liquid flower food. We recommend FloraLife Crystal Clear Flower Food 300 Liquid (available on Amazon).

Maintenance: Remove wilted flowers, recut stems, and place in a vase to rehydrate flowers. Follow the steps for Vase Arrangements. Don't move the arrangement frequently, as dry oasis is fragile.

Disposal: We recommend composting flowers whenever possible. Biodegradable Oasis (OASIS® Floral Foam Maxlife) goes in regular trash—it degrades by 75% within 1 year in landfills. Check out my Sustainability page for more information.

With just a little care, your flowers will stay vibrant and beautiful for as long as nature allows.
